New Balance’s 327 may be a completely fresh model, but its design inspiration is all ‘70s. It takes cues from the archival 320 and SuperComp runners and exaggerates the proportions, extending the lugged rubber sole up the heel. This navy and grey pair has a comfortable textile upper that’s branded on both sides — a super-sized N on the lateral, and NB’s ‘The Intelligent Choice’ slogan repeated on the medial.
